PBS TECHCON CODE OF CONDUCT

We invite you to join us at the PBS Technology Conference in a spirit of curiosity, friendliness, open-mindedness and respect.

At this PBS event, you agree to respect the boundaries of other attendees. We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior, discrimination or harassment in any form, including:

· discriminatory behavior against any group or class of people (e.g., homophobia, racism or sexism); and

· sexual harassment, including unwelcome sexual attention and inappropriate physical contact.

Contact us to report an incident

If, while at a PBS event, you have been involved in or have witnessed an incident that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact us at conferences@pbs.org to let key PBS managers know immediately.

If an incident is violent or dangerous, please report it to hotel security or, if appropriate, call 911.

PBS’s commitment

PBS will investigate all incidents. The complaint will be handled as swiftly and as confidentially as feasible in light of the need to investigate the allegation and, if necessary, take appropriate corrective action. Appropriate action may include: 1) issuance of a warning to the offender, 2) expulsion from the conference with no refund, or 3) reporting criminal behavior to the authorities.
